Canal scheme to maintain Powys waterway
Parts of the historical Montgomeryshire canal which used to transport goods in north Powys is being restored.
The gates in Welshpool are being replaced as part of a nationwide programme to maintain waterways.
It is hoped the improvements will encourage more people the most of canals like "The Monty".
