Alice inspired Christmas grotto for Llandudno

A town is using its connection to Alice in Wonderland in a bid to try and encourage shoppers to part with their money this Christmas.

Llandudno is putting on its Christmas Fayre and using figures from a former Alice museum in its grotto.

The little girl that inspired the Alice in Wonderland books used to have a second home in the town.

With less than six weeks to go businesses in the town hope the event will boost trade.

Chris Dearden reports.
