Cardiff South & Penarth by-election focus

Help

This time next week, the public will get the chance to vote for police and crime commissioners.

But in one part of the country, there is a parliamentary by-election as well.

Cardiff South and Penarth has a bigger population than any other Welsh constituency.

The poll was triggered when Labour's Alun Michael decided to stand down as the MP to stand in the police commissioner election.

Adrian Browne reports.
