Pendine flash flood damage the 'worst in 15 years'

A clean-up operation is under way in Pendine in Carmarthenshire after what has been described as the worst flash floods in 15 years which damaged several homes on Sunday.

Holidaymakers had to be moved from their caravans and a stream running down the hillside burst it banks, with mud and rocks gushing through a number of properties, according to witness Guy Goodwin.
