Welsh animation celebrated in museum exhibition
The roots of Welsh animation are to be celebrated at the National Museum in Cardiff.
SuperTed, along with Fireman Sam and Sali Mali, helped give Wales' animation industry a global reach.
Owain Rhys coordinated the exhibition along with Gerald Emmanuel, from the University of Glamorgan, who worked on SuperTed.
The exhibition can be seen at the National Museum in Cardiff and the National Waterfront Museum in Swansea until 17 March, 2013.
They told Peter Johnson of BBC Radio Wales that an early Welsh animation may even have inspired Walt Disney with his most famous character, Mickey Mouse.
