Wales Poppy Appeal: Soldier's mum and Olympic champ at launch

The mother of a Welsh soldier killed in Afghanistan has launched the 2012 Wales Poppy Appeal alongside an Olympic gold medallist.

Cathryn Griffiths, the mother of guardsman Jamie Shadrake, joined taekwando champion Jade Jones at Flint High School for the event.

Ms Griffths said the British Legion was invaluable to her as she was coming to terms with her loss.
