Catherine Gowing: Missing vet a dear person, says colleague

Help

The colleague of missing vet Catherine Gowing said concern is growing for her welfare a week after she disappeared.

Catherine Gowing, 37, originally from Ireland, was last seen a week ago after finishing work at a vet's in Mold, Flintshire.

North Wales Police said on Friday that they have found a burned out car in their search for Miss Gowing near her home, which matches the description of her Renault Clio.

A 46-year-old Gwynedd man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

David Esmor Evans described his colleague as a "very dear person", popular with pet owners who visited the practice.
