The Welsh Rugby Union has posted a record turnover in a successful Grand Slam year on the field and a bumper year for the bank balance.

The union's latest set of financial figures shows its revenue rose to £63m, a 44% increase over the past six years.

The results stand in stark contrast to the financial state of the four professional regions in Wales, which are all losing money.

BBC Wales business correspondent Nick Servini reports.
