Cardi Bach: 50 years since train line closed

Help

The 50th anniversary is being marked of the closure of the train line known as the Cardi Bach between Whitland, Carmarthenshire, and Cardigan in Ceredigion.

It was originally built mainly for the transportation of goods, but its popularity grew as a passenger line.

As an exhibition is staged paying tribute to the Cardi Bach, Emyr Phillips and Peter Williams share their memories of a "marvellous journey we've lost forever".
