12 cars and caravan set on fire in Kinmel Bay

A dozen cars, a caravan, a van trailer and two shipping containers of tyres were set on fire deliberately at an outdoor storage area in Conwy county.

North Wales Fire Service said investigators believed the arson attack happened in St Asaph Avenue, Kinmel Bay, just before midnight on Saturday.

Three fire engines from Rhyl, Abergele and St Asaph and an aerial ladder platform from Bangor, tackled the fire.

Crews were called at 23:45 BST and put out the fire by 03:17 BST on Sunday.

The fire service is investigating.
