Red shirts on view in Cardiff City v Newcastle friendly

Help

Cardiff City had their new red shirts on parade for the first time on Saturday, with the club's friendly against Newcastle.

The rebranding was officially launched on Friday night, after a passionate debate among supporters about the switch from the historic blue home strip.

Players then took to the field in the new shirts for the 4-1 win over the Premiership side.

Two goals from Aron Gunnarsson and Joe Ralls' strike gave City a 3-0 first-half lead.
