Royal Welsh Show: Rain-hit farmers 'staying away'
The first day of the Royal Welsh Show was blessed with sunshine but organisers say some farmers will stay away this year as they struggle with the backlog of work created by recent bad weather.
Heavy rain throughout the early part of the summer has left some farmers needing to cut hay or silage in the sunny weather, while others still have sheep needing to be sheared.
