Merseyside Police exercise gun shots heard near Connah's Quay

Gunshots as part of an anti-terrorism exercise may have been heard by people living nearby.

Shooting could be heard coming from the derelict RAF Sealand base near Connah's Quay in Flintshire overnight, which was reported to the BBC.

It later emerged Merseyside Police were using the base as part of a counter-terrorism exercise.
