Body found washed up at Trearddur Bay, Anglesey

A body has been found washed up on an Anglesey beach.

North Wales Police said the body was found in Trearddur Bay in an area known locally as Nun's Cove, between Porth y Post and Porth Dafach.

The alarm was raised at 11:20 BST on Saturday by a man who was walking with a friend.

Police said the body was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor, and inquiries are ongoing. The coroner has been informed.

Holyhead Coastguard confirmed a crew recovered the body.
