Scrapping O-Levels 'bonkers,' says Leighton Andrews
Education Minister Leighton Andrews has said Wales will not return to O-levels.
It comes as it emerged that UK Education Secretary Michael Gove was considering scrapping GCSEs and returning to O-level style exams.
Mr Andrews said this would be a "bonkers" way to proceed, adding that GCSEs were "a very good qualification and well respected".
A Welsh government review of the qualification system is underway.
He spoke to BBC Wales political reporter Toby Mason.
