Surrey and former Glamorgan cricketer Tom Maynard has died at the age of 23.

He died after being struck by a London Underground train at Wimbledon.

The batsman, 23, from Cardiff, played for his county in the t20 game against Kent on Sunday.

Maynard's county Surrey described him as "an incredibly talented young batsman".

BBC Sport Wales featured him in his Glamorgan days, hitting an unbeaten century in the CB40 defeat to Lancashire in May 2010.
