Wales' sustainable development role
Later this month the United Nations will hold a conference Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on sustainable development.
It follows similar conferences in previous years like the Kyoto summit, where international agreement on climate change was agreed.
But what impact do these agreements have on Wales?
Anne Meikle is head of WWF Cymru, which has published a report looking at the effect previous earth summits have had on Wales.
Kirsty Davies went to the Johannesburg Summit in 2002 and now works in environmental education around the UK.
Oliver Hides spoke to both on BBC Radio Wales' Good Morning Wales, starting with Ms Davies.
