MI6 spy Gareth Williams: Inquest opens in London into death

Help

An inquest into the death of an MI6 officer from Anglesey has begun in London.

Gareth Williams' body was found at his home in Pimlico, padlocked inside a large bag last August.

The sister of Mr Williams told the court about memories of her brother and his state of mind in the months leading up to his death.

Post-mortem examination tests failed to establish the cause of his death.

Iolo ap Dafydd reports on the inquest's first morning, including evidence from his sister.
