Poor Clare's Monastery in Hawarden opened to public for 800th anniversary


The veil is being lifted on the usually secret life of an order of nuns in Flintshire.

An exhibition at the Poor Clare's Monastery in Hawarden this weekend marks the 800th anniversary of the creation of the order by St Francis.

It also reveals glimpses of the sisters' daily routine.
