Three men who were arrested following an assault in Cardiff which left another man in hospital have been released from police custody.

The victim, 22, is at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff where he is being treated for injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.

Three men, aged 24, 34 and 39, have been released from custody, pending further enquiries.

Police were called to in Romilly Road, Canton, at 23:08 GMT on Friday.

There were reports that there had been a fight.

South Wales Police have appealed for anyone with information about the incident to contact 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
