Hovercraft rescue service starts on Dee estuary

A hovercraft search and rescue team has been set up in Flint to go to the aid of people in difficulty on the banks of the Dee estuary.

They crafts will complement the existing coastal rescue agencies and can also be used in flooded streets.

The service is run by a charity called Hovercraft Search and Rescue UK.
