Who was Welsh language campaigner Saunders Lewis?

It is 50 years since the writer and political campaigner Saunders Lewis delivered a speech on the BBC Home Service, predicting the demise of the Welsh language.

His words inspired a movement to save and strengthen the language, and integrate it into everyday life.

So who was the man who changed the fate of the language?
