Lynette White accused wants police corruption retrial

Help

One of the men wrongly convicted of the murder of Lynette White in Cardiff has called for a retrial of eight police officers who worked on the case.

Missing evidence which led to the collapse of the former officers' trial on charges of perverting the course of justice has now been found by South Wales Police.

Tony Paris says he wants to establish who implicated him in the 1988 murder for which he and two other men were wrongly convicted.

But one of Wales' leading legal voices has cast doubt on whether a retrial can take place.

Rebecca John reports.
