Wales' empty shops 'blight high street'

A clearer national strategy is needed to save Welsh town centres from decline, says a report by Welsh assembly members.

The enterprise and business committee said many high streets were blighted by empty properties and poor shopping environments.

In all, the committee makes 20 recommendations and says ministers must take the lead in regeneration.
