New style life jackets given RNLI trial in Wales

Help

For nearly 200 years the RNLI has been saving lives. And of course it's vital that crew members must stay safe during rescues. Key to that are life jackets. The first were pioneered more than a century and a half ago.

They have changed many times over the years - now crews are to get new ones and they've been trialled in Wales.

Roger Pinney reports.
