WRU appoints Owen Sheers as rugby writer in residence

Welsh rugby is to get its very own writer to capture the moments of elation and despair in words.

The novelist, playwright and poet Owen Sheers has been appointed as the Welsh Rugby Union's first writer in residence.

As part of his role, he will follow the team in the Six Nations tournament next year.
