Newport hair salon shooting: residents speak of shock

Residents of Newport have spoken of their shock after after three women were injured in a shooting at a hair salon.

Darren Williams, from Cwmbran, shot his estranged wife Rachel in the knee with a double-barrelled shotgun.

Two other women, one aged 92, were also injured in the incident on Malpas Road on Friday.

After a six-hour search, armed police found the gunman's body at nearby Brynglas woods.
