Miliband: Carwyn Jones leads the way for Wales and UK

Help

Labour leader Ed Miliband says there is much First Minister Carwyn Jones is doing - such as not trebling university tuition fees - that is "leading the way not just for Wales, but for the United Kingdom".

Mr Miliband spoke in Wrexham, where he told Labour activists that he is determined to scrap elections to the shadow cabinet, arguing that the party leader should decide who is on the front bench.

He also told BBC Wales political correspondent John Stevenson that Labour must be less inward-looking to win back power.
