Fifty years of oil in Pembrokeshire

The fatal explosion at the Chevron oil refinery at Pembroke could have implications for the west Wales economy.

Oil has been a major industry there since the early 1960s.

Milford Haven was chosen as a deep water port for oil tankers in 1961 while Texaco opened the refinery now operated by Chevron in 1964.

Nick Palit reports.
