Stud farm disability benefits couple filmed mucking out

Help

They claimed thousands of pounds of disability allowance, saying they were unable to move, but all the time Nicolas Edwin Arnold and his wife Mair Elizabeth were running a stud farm.

The couple said they suffered a range of debilitating illnesses including heart problems and arthritis but were caught by fraud investigators regularly mucking out at their Bridgend farm and carrying out other strenuous activities.

They were given a two-month suspended sentence.

Matt Murray reports.
