Rally supports coastguard station

A rally and march have been staged in an attempt to prevent the closure of Holyhead coastguard station on Anglesey.

More than 200 people attended the demonstration against the proposal, which is part of a plan to reduce the UK's 18 coastguard stations to eight to "modernise" the service.

The Maritime and Coastguard Agency says the service must be more effective. Joanna Rowlands reports
