'Radical' Welsh 'super university' merger agreed

Three colleges have agreed a merger to become The University of Wales.

The University of Wales Institute Cardiff, Swansea Metropolitan University and Trinity Saint David in Carmarthen are to merge as part of a new structure run by the University of Wales.

Prof Medwin Hughes, Vice Chancellor of The University of Wales, told BBC Wales Today why it was important.
