£70m Anglesey tidal power plans on display


Plans for a £70m project which would use tidal power off the coast of Anglesey to generate a fifth of the island's electricity needs are going on display.

The scheme would involve underwater turbines between the Skerries and Carmel Head.

The two-day exhibition starts in Holyhead.
