Boy, 11, dies after Flint attack which killed mother
An 11-year-old boy who was seriously hurt in an alleged attack which killed his mother in Flintshire has died, say North Wales Police.
Patryk Wasko was taken to hospital on Sunday after police were called to a disturbance in Cae Hir, Flint.
Monika Wasko died and her husband Rafael, 33, was injured.
Krystian Krysztof Rozek, 27, appeared in court on Tuesday charged with the murder of Mrs Wasko and the attempted murder of Patryk and Mr Wasko.
He was remanded in custody at Mold Magistrates' Court to appear before a crown court judge in Caernarfon.
Police and paramedics were called to the Waskos' home in Flint at 0130 BST on Sunday.
A spokeswoman for North Wales Police said Patryk died in Alder Hey Childrens' Hospital in Liverpool on Wednesday night.
"A post-mortem is expected to be carried out," she added.
