Police raid at £235,000 Forth Valley cannabis farm

Police seized drugs with a street value of £235,000 after raiding a cannabis farm in Forth Valley.

Officers, acting on information received from a member of the public, executed a warrant at a property in Main Street, Shieldhill, where they found a large cannabis cultivation.

A 48-year-old West Lothian man is to appear at Falkirk Sheriff Court.

Det Sgt John Dreczkowski said the "significant recovery" of drugs had a "considerable local street value".

Meanwhile, two men were charged after cannabis worth between £50,000 and £80,000 on the street was recovered in the Stobswell area of Dundee on Wednesday.

The men, aged 45 and 60, were charged in relation to drugs offences and were due to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court.
