Motorcyclist dies after A822 crash

A motorcyclist has died after a collision involving two cars in Perthshire on Friday.

James Lambert, 62, was critically injured in a crash on the A822 Crieff to Braco road at about 13:10.

He was taken to Dundee's Ninewells Hospital where he later died.

Police Scotland are looking for witnesses to the collision which involved a black Land Rover Freelander and a silver Ford Fiesta, both travelling southbound.

Mr Lambert was travelling northbound on a black BMW motorcycle.
