Police appeal after knifepoint Farmfoods robbery

Police have launched an appeal after a thief held up a supermarket at knifepoint in Perth.

The robbery took place in Farmfoods on South Street at about 16:50 on Friday.

A man entered the shop and threatened staff with a knife before making off with a three figure sum of money.

He is described as being Asian or North African ethnicity, about 5'10" tall, wearing a black leather jacket and with a distinctive gold tooth.

Police have asked for anybody with any information to get in touch.
