Police search after man 'seriously injured' in Hilltown attack

Police on Hilltown Police attended the "disturbance" at Butterburn Court in the Hilltown area of Dundee on Saturday

Police are investigating after a man was "seriously injured" in a knife attack in Dundee.

Officers are investigating the "disturbance" at Butterburn Square in the Hilltown area of the city at about 12:15 on Saturday.

A 27-year-old man was taken to Ninewells Hospital with "serious injuries", although he has since been released.

It is thought the attacker was a man, who ran off down the Hilltown.

Police have appealed for witnesses.
