Donald MacKinnon named as quad bike crash death man

A man who died after falling off a quad bike near Dunblane has been named as Donald John MacKinnon, of Kilbryde.

The 60-year-old came off his quad bike on an unclassified road near Kilbryde Castle, three miles out of Dunblane, on Saturday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the scene but were unable to save Mr MacKinnon's life.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and a report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
