Man who died in A9 car crash named as William McIntosh

A man who died in a one-car crash on the A9 in Perthshire has been named as William McIntosh.

The 62-year-old, of Danestone in Aberdeen, was pronounced dead upon arrival at Perth Royal Infirmary on Sunday afternoon.

His silver Peugeot 206 crashed on the Perth to Stirling stretch of the dual carriageway, near its junction with the A824 Aberuthven to Auchterarder road.

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances.
