A 56-year-old man who died in a motorbike crash on the A9 has been named as Mervyn Taylor of Dereham, Norfolk.
Mr Taylor's motorcycle collided with a 4x4 car on the busy Perth to Inverness road at the House of Bruar on Monday.
The female driver of the 4x4 had to be cut free from the vehicle by firefighters, with police and the air ambulance in attendance.
Police are continuing to investigate Monday's crash.
The road was closed for some time following the fatality at about 11:45, causing heavy tailbacks amid bank holiday traffic.
Traffic was diverted to Pitlochry and Blair Atholl, leading to long delays.
