Search for man caught reaching through Perth cat flap

Police are searching for a man caught by a resident reaching into her house in Perth through a cat flap.

The woman came across the incident at the kitchen of her home in Perth's Logie Crescent at 00:40. The man looked through the window before running off.

He was described as being in his early 20s, 5ft 7in tall with short dark hair. He was wearing a dark hooded top.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw the man to come forward.
