East coast services cancelled after death on train line
East coast train services were disrupted following a fatality on the line.
Trains were stopped after emergency services attended at the line between Arbroath and Montrose, just before 12:00.
Network Rail confirmed there had been a fatality after British Transport Police found a woman's body near Lunan Bay.
Services between Glasgow, Edinburgh, and Aberdeen were delayed for over three hours.
Police had been searching the area for local woman Joyce Howie, who was reported missing on Thursday evening.
Officers are keeping the 67-year-old's family up to date with developments.
