Man who died in Dundee crash named as Douglas Grewar

A pensioner who died after his car collided with a wall in Dundee has been named as city man Douglas Grewar.

The 77-year-old's Ford Fiesta crossed to the opposite carriageway on Harefield Road on Tuesday evening before mounting the pavement and hitting the wall.

The one-car collision took place at 21:52 near the Stack Leisure Park.

Mr Grewar was taken to Ninewells Hospital but died later. Police would like to speak to witnesses.
