The historical image was discovered by Clacks on Camera, a group which researches images and film from Clackmannanshire.

It shows a group of firefighters attending an incident along with a hosereel cart in Alloa.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) agreed to help recreate the image.

Andy Bennett, the station manager at Alloa fire station, said they had been "only too happy to help.

"This year sees Alloa fire service celebrate their 50th anniversary and we thought it would be a nice way of commemorating the anniversary."

Several other vintage images can be found on the Clacks on Camera facebook page.
