Four injured after two-car crash near Kirriemuir, Angus

Four people have been injured, two seriously, after a two-car crash near Kirriemuir in Angus.

The incident, involving a blue Peugeot and a silver BMW, happened at about 17:00 on Saturday on the Forestmuir Wood Road, south of the B957 junction.

The 22-year-old male driver of the Peugeot and the 51-year-old female front seat passenger of the BMW both received serious injuries.

The driver and rear passenger of the BMW were treated for minor injuries.

Police Scotland appealed for witnesses to the incident to contact them.
