Thieves steal £11k power tool haul from B&Q in Dundee

Thieves in Dundee have stolen nearly £11,000 worth of power tools from a B&Q store in the city.

Police said more than 100 tools, including electric drills, jigsaws and hammer drills were among the haul taken from the Kings Cross Road store.

The break-in happened sometime between midnight and 08:00 on 8 December.

Officers said that given the size of the theft, a vehicle and more than one person was likely to have been involved.

They are currently reviewing CCTV footage taken in the area and have appealed to anyone with information about the theft to come forward.
