Jamie Trew charged after Dundee train station heroin seizure

A 22-year-old Liverpool man has appeared in court after heroin with a street value of £50,000 was seized at Dundee train station.

Jamie Tew was arrested during the police operation on Wednesday, and charged with being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

He made no plea or declaration during the brief hearing at Dundee Sheriff Court, and he was remanded in custody.

The case was continued for further examination.

He is expected to appear in court next week.
