Police in Falkirk probe 'unexplained' death of man, 31

Police are investigating the death of a 31-year-old man in the Brightons area of Falkirk.

The man's body was found by a member of his family at his home in Station Road on Tuesday.

Police Scotland said the man's death was currently being treated as unexplained and that the property had been sealed off.

A report into the incident will be sent to the procurator fiscal's office in due course.

In a statement, the force said: "Inquiries to establish the man's previous movements will result in police activity within the Brightons area and the local community is thanked for their co-operation and support.

"The death is currently being treated as unexplained and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course."
