A number of roads in Dundee have had their speed limits revised after a review by the city council.
The local authority has reduced the speed limits following analysis of traffic volumes, accidents and the speed at which drivers currently travel.
Dundee's Dalhousie Road/Monifieth Road will see a new limit of 30mph.
Drivers travelling along the Coupar Angus Road and Riverside Drive will now not be allowed to exceed 40mph.
The first of the changes will take place next Monday, when the 50mph limit on A85 Riverside Drive will come down to 40, while next Wednesday the changes to Dundee Road and Coupar Angus Road will take effect.
Will Dawson convener of Dundee City Council's city development committee said: "These three stretches of road have all been the subject of close inspection and unanimous agreement that we should reduce the speed limits on each one of them.
"The lower limits will make a significant difference to the quality of life of the people who live, work and travel through these areas, and I am sure they will welcome the action the council has taken."
